Former Interim President of Central Africa Republic, H.E Catherine Samba Panza, has lauded discipline and professionalism exhibited by the Rwanda Peacekeepers in CAR. She highlighted this during the farewell event, held at her residence in OUANGO, Bangui city.
H.E Catherine Samba Panza organised the farewell ceremony specifically to appreciate the commitment of Rwanda peacekeepers in providing her and the Interim-Government with outstanding security, and for continuing securing the current president. She needed to say good bye and express her gratitude to Rwandan Peacekeepers, in particular those who were in charge of her close security. “We went through terrible situations together, but I did not lose confidence anytime because I felt that I was being protected by a disciplined, professional and well-motivated Force”, said Madame Panza. She also thanked the Government of Rwanda for the continued support to her Country.
In accordance with the Multidimensional Integrated Stabilisation Mission in Central Africa Republic (MINUSCA) directives, Rwanbatt3 Peacekeepers will no longer be in charge of her security with effect from 1 June 2016.

He also thanked her for the very good collaboration with all Rwanda peacekeepers that were in charge of her security during her term of office as the Interim President and after.
