The survivors of the 1994 genocide against Tutsi in Munini, Nyaruguru district, will benefit from the Rwanda Defence Force medical Army Week along next week with specialized medical team to be dispatched at the place. The medical outreach service jointly organized by Rwanda Military Hospital in partnership with FARG, Fund for Genocide Survivors, is scheduled from 14-18 May 2012.
The program is aimed at providing healthcare education, medical consultation, screening and carry out specialized treatment and follow up for the needy. Rwanda Military Hospital will deploy a specialized multidisciplinary medical team made of orthopedic surgeons, general surgeons, ophthalmologists, physiotherapists, dermatologists, radiologists, gynecologists and other specialists to help the vulnerable members of the community.
The activity will be officially opened on 14 May, 09:00 a.m at Munini Hospital, Nyaruguru.
