HE Stefan Löfven former Prime Minister of Sweden meets Rwanda's Minister of Defence
Today, 4 September 2023, Minister of Defence, Juvenal Marizamunda received in his office HE Stefan Löfven, former Prime Minister of Sweden and the current Chairperson of the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) Governing Board.
He was accompanied by the Swedish Ambassador to Rwanda, HE Johanna Teague, Mr Ulf Lofven and the DA. Their discussions focused on possible areas of cooperation and collaboration with Rwanda Peace Academy (RPA).
Earlier this morning, HE Stefan Löfven and his delegation also paid respect to the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi at Kigali Genocide Memorial.
Tomorrow, 5 September 2023, HE Stefan Löfven and Mr. Ulf Löfven will deliver lectures of opportunity to regional officers currently attending a peacekeeping course at RPA.
