The Sector North-East Commander of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA), Brigadier General Joseph Douglas Mokwena, has commended Rwanda Level II Hospital peacekeepers for their outstanding medical services and commitment to saving lives in the Central African Republic (CAR).
Brig Gen Mokwena made the remarks today during his visit to Rwanda Level II Hospital in Bria, where he met with the medical personnel and familiarized himself with the hospital’s operations and capabilities.
He was welcomed by the Rwanda Level II Hospital Contingent Commander, Colonel Dr Christian Mukwesi, who briefed him on the hospital’s medical operations, capabilities, and services provided to MINUSCA personnel, as well as providing free medical services to the local population.
