RDF ARMY CHIEF OF STAFF BRIEFS NEW CONTINGENT SET TO DEPLOY IN MOZAMBIQUE

Today at Kami Military Barracks, Maj Gen Vincent Nyakarundi, the RDF Army Chief of Staff together with Commissioner of Police Vincent B. Sano, Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of Operations, briefed Rwandan Security Forces preparing to deploy to Mozambique’s northern province of Cabo Delgado.
The RDF Army Chief of Staff conveyed a message from H.E. Paul Kagame, the President of Rwanda and Commander-in-Chief of RDF, reminding the troops to maintain discipline and commitment in their crucial mission. He emphasized that the forces currently deployed in the region are performing admirably and that this standard must be upheld.
This deployment underscores the strong bilateral relations between the Republic of Rwanda and Mozambique.
