RDF DONATES COWS TO UBUTWARI ARTISTS GROUP
The Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) today donated four cows to the Ubutwari Artists Group, led by Maria Yohani, in fulfilment of a pledge made by the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Gen MK Mubarakh in recognition of the group's outstanding contribution to the success of the Ubutwari Concert.
The cows were officially handed over by the Chief of Civil-Military Cooperation, Col Désiré Migambi Mungamba, representing the RDF Chief of Defence Staff during a ceremony held at Kigali Infants School in Rusororo Sector, Gasabo District.

During the handover ceremony, Col Migambi commended the artists for using their creative talents to inspire citizens, particularly young people, to embrace patriotism, national unity, and responsible citizenship.
He reaffirmed the Rwanda Defence Force's commitment to supporting initiatives that strengthen social cohesion, resilience, and community development. He also encouraged all Rwandans to contribute to nation-building through their respective professions and talents.

Speaking on behalf of the Ubutwari Artists Group, Kamana Kalimba John expressed sincere gratitude to His Excellency President Paul Kagame, Commander-in-Chief of the Rwanda Defence Force, for the recognition and continued support that extend beyond the military's core security mandate.
He noted that the gesture would motivate artists to continue using their platforms to promote patriotism, preserve national values, and contribute meaningfully to Rwanda's unity and sustainable development.
