RWANDAN PEACEKEEPERS IN BRIA DECORATED WITH UN SERVICE MEDALS

Bria- Central African Republic, 16 September 2022

Rwandan peacekeepers, Level II Hospital and Rwanda Battle Group IV, serving under the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Central African Republic (MINUSCA) in Bria, Haute- Kotto Province, were today decorated with UN peacekeeping medals.

The peacekeepers were decorated in recognition for professionalism in carrying out their duties of bringing peace and stability in Central African Republic.

The awarding ceremony was presided over by MINUSCA Force Commander, Lt Gen Daniel SIDIKI TRAORE who applauded the peacekeepers for their hard work while fulfilling their assigned mandate.  He thanked Rwanda Level II Hospital for provided medical services to MINUSCA Forces as well as to local community in Haute – Kotto Province.
