RWANDA MILITARY HOSPITAL

RMH has launched “Operation eye Sight Kanombe” to restore sight to those suffering from cataracts. More than 25 RDF personnel were trained in eye anatomy and physiology to build the capacity in cataract surgery. Over 400 former patients have regained sight. The hospital and ministry officials are training eye focal points for every health centre in Rwanda.

The Hospital provides good service with qualified personnel. According to Dr Charles Murego, the Rwanda Military Hospital (RMH) treats every patient whether military or not at reasonable price. The Hospital offers many services: mental health, maternity, X-Ray, Ophtalmology and many others.

The Hospital has also VCT (for HIV Voluntary Counseling and Testing).
