RDF and Rotary International doctors conduct surgeries for patients with complicated cases at Rwanda Military Hospital

Kigali, 2 March 2016,

Over 200 patients with Orthopedics and ENT (ear nose and throat) complications are benefiting from specialised surgeries at Rwanda Military Hospital (RMH)  in a medical mission jointly conducted by Rwanda Defence Force Military Hospital at Kanombe, in partnership with Rotary International from 26 February to 6 March 2016. 

On 2nd March 2016, Minister of Defence, Hon Gen James Kabarebe accompanied by Mr KR Ravindran, the President of Rotary International with his delegation toured different operation rooms at RMH where medical specialists from Rotary International and Rwanda Military Hospital are offering treatment to the patients.

Gen Kabarebe who briefed Rotary International delegation on RMH background and activities, thanked the contribution of Rotary Club International that joined Rwanda Military Hospital to render the specialised services to the community.

Mr K.R. Ravindran President of Rotary International was very grateful and impressed by extent of health care and the big number of patients attended to at Rwanda Military Hospital.
